Sunday, Lions John Y and John W headed to The Appleby Hub for the Share the Care event, promoting our Message in a Bottle, Message in a Wallet and Plugsters. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by – a fantastic response, with everything snapped up! 🦁💚
Our latest social event – Edenhall walk and meal
Lions isn’t just about serving our community – it’s also about fun and friendship. Our members and friends enjoyed a lovely stroll taking in St Cuthbert’s Church, later joined by more friends for a delicious meal at Eden Hall.

Our latest venture!
Ahead of our business meeting, we launched our new pre-loved book stall at the fabulous The George Hotel, Penrith. 📚🦁 Pop by for your next read for a suggested £1 donation – every penny helps support local good causes. 💙Huge thanks to Lions Bernard & Mel for bringing this great fundraising idea to life!
Got books you no longer need? Give them a new chapter – drop us a DM!📚🦁
