Starting in July 2019, with the support of local organisations including Rotary, businesses and the town council, Penrith Lions arranged for a “picnic” event in Castle Park. What a wonderful day. The crowds turned out and the weather was excellent and we have had excellent feedback from those who attended.
Our thanks go to all of the organisations who helped in any way by providing food, drink and manpower.
Here are a few photographs of the day. The club is grateful for all the support it received the people of the town and surrounding District.
