Car Treasure Hunt Sunday 9th October

Despite the best endeavours of Ian Proud to get us lost we all arrived back safely to Edenhall hotel where we enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea.

West Cumberland Charter Anniversary - October 2011

President Bill Miller and his wife Pam and Ian and Anne Edgar attended the event at Hunday Manor where Bill's brother Keith is President this year. We enjoyed an excellent meal and social evening.

Pampering Evening
1st August at Styleline

The Ladies organised an evening of sheer imdulgence where they dipped their feet in tanks of Garra Rufa fish while eating nibbles and drinking wine.

Ruth and Helen also organised pedicures, manicures and other such things. I believe they want to do it again.

Wild West Themed Barbecue
Saturday 20th August

Everyone made an effort to dress up in Wild West outfits and this added to the fun of the evening.
We had an excellent selection of meats, salads and sweets amply washed down with ale and wine.

This was a most enjoyable evening even though those under the umbrella got a bit wet later on!

Change-over Barbeque

We broke with tradition this year and combined our change over with a barbecue at incoming President Bill's house.

Despite a poor forecast earlier in the week the weather was quite reasonable on the night and we had a very successful barbeque with lots of excellent food. The chefs excelled themselves and the Ladies again came up trumps with an excellent array of sweets.
